Travel Arrangements MAX

Darrell and I are booked on Delta 1119 on Sunday around 11:30 and returning on Delta 794 on Wednesday around 7 pm. Fight cost quotes went up from yesterday to today by $120! We're staying at the Hilton. Darrell is looking for car pooling options. Call him at 334 844 7070.

Just returned this book to the library. It was one of the text I asked them to buy. It has different sections on html, CSS, Javascript, Flash etc. Pretty well written.


Adobe MAX 2007 registration is now open

Apple Education Seminar: Final Cut Studio 2 and Adobe CS

AUMUG (Auburn University Mac User Group) will be hosting an Apple Education Seminar that is a part of the NAB road show. Please forward this to others who work with graphics, art and/or video editing, etc. You do not have to be a member of AUMUG or associated with Auburn University in order to register.

Apple Final Cut Studio 2 and Adobe Creative Suite 3 will be the two featured products.

Adobe MAX 2007 Hotel Information

The following information is from a response by an Adobe representative to a question posted in the comments areas of the following blog entry "MAX 2007 North America Registration Opening Soon"on the Adobe MAX 2007 blog website.

MAX 2007 attendees qualify for special rates at three hotels near the conference site. Room rates range from $235 - $249 per night plus applicable state and local taxes (currently 15.4%). See below for specific rates at each hotel.

I see that there is a Mac version. Hope this one installs without problems. You can also get the Dreamweaver CS3 extension package with support for all the new tags.

MAX 2007 Price Information

Adobe has released pricing information for MAX 2007. There's still no word on the education pricing but we will post the information as soon as we get it.

Inquiring minds want to know what is the pricing structure for MAX 2007 North America. The registration and fees for the event that will be held in Chicago on September 30- October 3, 2007 are listed below.

Full Conference Pass
Access to the three-day MAX 2007 program, including access to all five session tracks, the Exhibit Pavilion, Birds of a Feather sessions, Welcome Reception, Conference Party, and the After Hours Lounges.
$1,095 - Early Bird discount, must be purchased on or before July 23, 2007
$1,295 - If purchased July 24, 2007 – Sept. 21, 2007
$1,495 - If purchased on-site Sept. 22, 2007 – Oct. 3, 2007

Pre-Conference All Day Hands-On Training Pass
Access one of the 12 all day hands-on training sessions that will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007. All Day Hands-on Training Sessions, which are offered as a supplement to the standard event schedule, are priced in addition to your registration fee. Seats are limited to 50 attendees per class, and registration is
available on a first-come, first-served basis.
$550 - Early Bird discount, must be purchased on or before July 23, 2007
$750 - If purchased July 24, 2007 – Sept. 21, 2007
$950 - If purchased on-site Sept. 22, 2007 – Oct. 3, 2007

Guest Pass
Attendees are permitted to register a guest. Registered guests are permitted to attend the Welcome Reception and the Conference Party. These two events are not available for purchase individually. Guest passes will be available for a fee throughout registration and during the conference. Each guest pass holder must be accompanied by a paid MAX 2007 registration holder. The guest pass does not include access to any sessions, continental breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full conference passes.
$100 - Early Bird discount, must be purchased on or before July 23, 2007
$150 - If purchased July 24, 2007 – Sept. 21, 2007
$200 - If purchased on-site Sept. 22, 2007 – Oct. 3, 2007

One Day Pass

Access to two days of sessions on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (Oct. 1, 2, and 3), plus access to the general session, the Exhibit Pavilion, and evening functions for the two selected days.
