How to obtain your Alabama Private Applicator Permit
Option #1
Cost: $20*
- Register below for the next available training/testing course in your region.
- Regional training/testing dates are available January 1 – September 30 of each year
- No training courses will be offered October 1st – December 31 of any year.

* An additional $25 fee must be forwarded by the applicant to the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries (ADAI) to receive the permit.

- If unable to attend a scheduled training session in your region, applicants shall secure the appropriate training manual, permit application, and schedule a testing date with the nearest Cooperative Extension System office.
- Lowndes County adminsters the test on the following days and times:
- Monday: 8:00am-12:00
- Tuesday: 8:00am-12:00
- Wednesday: 8:00am-12:00
- Thursday: 8:00am-12:00
- Friday: 8:00am-12:00
- Please call (334) 548-2315 before traveling to the Lowndes County Extension Office to make sure someone is avaiable to administer the test.
