Water Resources

Workshop Information

Workshop participants will learn how to identify streams that can be improved by installing streamside vegetation to remediate small-scale erosion problems. The Streamside Buffer Repair Kit will be introduced at these workshops and participants will learn how to use it to teach others about native streamside vegetation.

Topics covered in the workshops include:

* Native plant benefits

* Exotic invasive species and their removal

* Identifying streambank erosion areas that may require more than vegetation

* Installation and timing of live stakes, containers, and bare roots
