Mill Creek Watershed Plan
The Mill Creek Watershed Management Plan is funded by the Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 319h funds, which are granted to state and tribal agencies to develop and implement nonpoint source (NPS) watershed plans.
Watershed Management Plans:
- Waters listed on the Section 303(d) are prioritized for development of Watershed Management Plans, which focus on creating an action plan to improve stream health and function.
- Watershed plans are stakeholder driven and are a comprehensive approach designed to address pollution concerns.
- These plans suggest scientifically supported best management practices (BMPs) that can be adopted to improve the overall health of the watershed.
